Always burn your candle within sight, and never burn a candle near anything flammable. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Before lighting your candle each time, trim the wick to 1/4 inch for best burning results. A candle should be allowed to burn long enough for the wax pool to extend across the entire top of the candle. Never burn a candle near a draft or on a non-sturdy surface. Following these instructions could prevent a fire hazard or serious injury. Please burn your candles responsibly. |

We are a central Texas family that love candles and thought, “What better way to express that sentiment than to make our own?” and the Great American Candle Shop was born. Tons of support from family and friends have made this venture possible—you know who you are, and we thank you so very much! My husband is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army, having served for over twenty-three years. Our four children range in age from 7 to 17 and they love to give me their input about my fragrances. In addition to making candles, I also work full-time and volunteer with various community organizations in the Fort Hood, Texas area. We pride ourselves on keeping our business in the family.
